@san2chi HOLY SHIT!!! I’ve had this laptop for close to 5 months now and, up until now, had always used headphones, cursed the poor sound quality, or held the damn thing up to my ear. This was a quick and EASY fix… I am stinkin THRILLED… can ya tell? lol

I finally got my u46e-ral5. It is pretty quiet and has both speakers on the right side, but ive been using my Bluetooth speakers instead. my model came with Bluetooth 3.0.

Awesome laptop. The battery does stick out a bit so imo it’s not really 1-inch thick but it props it up nicely though. With Crysis, I get about 15fps on ultra, 27-33 fps on high, and around 60 on medium settings. It is great at multitasking, you can have games open and do other demanding things in the background with no problem. For battery life, I am getting about 5 hours doing schoolwork on full brightness. Its speaker is weak, but the sound quality itself is fine- just use headphones..

To fix sound:
Go to “Change sound card settings”
Click “Playback” tab, then Click “Speakers”
Click “Properties,” and choose “Enhancement” tab
Check the “Equalizer” box
Where it says “Setting:,” click “. . .”
Pull all the bars to maximum output and save the change as some name
Click “OK”
It probably doubled my Asus U46’s sound output.

i know but i upgrade the laptop the processor and put a nvidia gt 530m , is a good laptop but most laptop dont hold to much charger in battery but 10hours in power saved mode is great latop . who much u buy the laptop ?
